and mentor Mshindo I has lent his drawing and painting skills to such comics as Jaycen Wise, The Horsemen, Ebony Warrior, The Fringe, Stormbringers Universe, Urbanstyle Comics Dreadlocks, Batman Chronicles, Nightwing, Impulse, Urban Sprawl, Advent comics, Genecy and SuperGirl . His masterworks have also graced the covers of Queen Afua's heal thyself, Heru Ptah’s A Hip Hop Story, Charles Saunder's Dossouye and Imaro. In (2011) he was featured in the seminal work exploring the black comic experience titled Black Comix by John Jennings and Damian Duffy. Mshindo often teaches art workshops for young people, in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Buffalo NY, and Orlando Fl. He is the co-author of Food Adventures with Charles the Chef, a children’s book about healthy eating. ( with psa's currently being aired on PBS acrosss the united states as far away as Alaska) Mshindo I is currently developing a property with Wesley Snipes called Omandi Mech 5 a Sci - Fi epic about an African family whose adventures aim to cure the energy needs of the world while creating a guardian for Afrika and the worlds protection slated for motion comics, animation and live action. (2011-2013) With Brother Uraeus; Mshindo I has created the Black OPs Black out tour. An idea and brand created to teach artists and entrepreneurs of color how to use Gold Standard art and social media to elevate not only the artists brand but to increase his earnings. This is done via creative use of technology like I-pads, new printing technology and hi end presentation techniques that will increase visibility and sales. Some of the properties that will soon emerge from this pairing with brother Uraeus is: Jaycen Wise, Anikulapo, Brains Brown "Worlds greatest Detective", Indigo, Legend of Golden claw, Quo "Silent Warrior" to name a few.
